My guess would be OEM... but technically these are two stage springs and not progressive along with H&R (bouncy when lowered). I like the KW's which are true progressive springs so the compression is actually very nice in mild undulations- almost better than stock from my memory. But the KW's are taut in turns and higher speed corners which may not be good for some.

Thanks for the reply Vic. I am looking to lower the car but keep it as close to OEM comfort as possible. Are you saying that the H&R spring is not a good option? With the KW's I have read that they do make the ride a lot more 'sporty' and Im really not after that all - I want to keep the car comfortable - I have other cars for rattling my teeth in..

Well its only the front since you are at the mercy of the Benz Pigmatic in the back but I would think the H&R would be softer. In fact you could go with the CLS350 spring and it would create even more compression since its supposedly mated up with the lighter front.

Vic been doing my reading today and you have popped up in several threads related to my questions including this one. I am new to the MB family and just got a CLS 63, coming from a modified CTS-V, this was a nice upgrade.

Your current garage is making me very jealous, looks like i need to sell more land and get a garage like yours

I have yet to be able to find a sound clip with downpipes and removed resonator. If you have seen one along your way i would appreciate the guide. I am used to straight piping all my cars. I dont want the the CLS to be as loud as my caddy was but i do need 50% or so more then stock.
