Question Spacer and Lowering Refresh

Read through a bunch of posts but piecing it together has been interesting to say the least.

I'd like to see if anyone can provide a refresher. I'd love to know three things for my '12 63 which I want to drop and kick the wheels out a bit.

1- How much did you lower front and rear?

And/or

2- Did you use spacers, if so, what size in front and rear?

3- What product did you use? (K/W, H&R, AirRide Adjustable, etc)

*Bonus question- does anyone have a picture they can share so we can see what your setup looks like?

That's the great part of this forum. Everyone does trial and error and it allows others to "eye demo" it before trying first.

Appreciate any feedback you can provide.

I'm still kicking around what to get and where to get them. Probably going to get HR spacers 20mm back and 10mm front. If someone has part numbers and where they got theirs, I'd order them now...

I have KWs Coil overs in the front with adjustable link in the rear. I do wish the front was on air as well.

If I dont trade my 63 in this week I will probably put spacers on, dont know what size yet either. Will also install new brakes and tires. Currently has stock brakes and 295/30 and 265/35 Pilot Supersports, might switch out to R888 so I can hook a little. And pretty much the only picture on my laptop.

Will75, thanks for the info and picture. Kind of tough to tell but how much would you say it dropped in the front and rear? I assume this is the full KW kit that you used too. Any alignment issues and how does it ride compared to stock? If you end up adding spacers let us know

I just purchased the KW H.A.S setup and spacers 10 & 15mm. I'll post pics when installed. Maybe do a before and after.

Here's a link to the KW H.A.S. coils he mentioned, we can get you a good price for them, being a member on MBWorld forums, better than the retail price.

Let me know if you're considering anything else.

Vivid CLS Coils

We have wheel spacers too if you decide what size to get.

Installed

KW springs and spacers 10 mm front, 15 mm rear Before and after. Not too noticeable, but I certainly notice.
Different lighting in the pics makes it hard to see..oh well.

KW springs and MB spacers if I remember correctly .
Ended up lowering about 2 inches.
Ride is fine but it eats up tires quickly (about 8K miles on rears) or could it be the fact that the beast has 700 torque.
Check my pics on my profile.
Congrats on the new wheels

Congrats on the new wheels
Or could it be that your foot has a weight problem which makes it a struggle to keep up off the gas?

an added bonus of buying better wheels: custom/aggressive off-sets that don't require spacers?

ordered tires and FF01 wheels

I ended up getting Hankook tires, everything is back ordered. 305's on the rears. I hope I'm not going to have issues with the spacers since my kw install lowered it slightly or no?
