Intermittent firing
This morning, felt a slight uneven idle. Didn't think much about it and jumped on the freeway. Car starting sputtering and acting as though it was missing a cylinder. Oh yeah, the engine light came on and I started to panic.
I barely made it into the parking lot. As I came out of my appointment an hour later, I was prepared to call for a tow the local MBZ dealer.
I fired it up and she purred like a kitten.
No engine light, no hesitation, no sputtering....
WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?
HAS ANYONE ELSE EXPERIENCED SUCH A NIGHTMARE.
I barely made it into the parking lot. As I came out of my appointment an hour later, I was prepared to call for a tow the local MBZ dealer.

You might want to check spark plugs as been known to be a culperet

Resolution to intermittent firing
Found out today that I had a left and right O2 sensors that were bad, as well as a cross over switch for the turbos that was bad.
This is a 2012 with 26k miles. Why is it that these $100k+ cars just don't seem to hold up?
Two weeks ago I had tire pressure sensor problems. As well as the foot rest on the fire wall falling off.
