I have a 2014 CLS AMG 63S. Two nights ago we had our first evening with temperatures well below freezing. When we went to get in the car the next day, the windshield had a crack in the left lower corner right in front of the driver.

We took the car to Mercedes and received excellent customer service. The told us they didn't find any sign of damage or rock chips and that it must have been a defect in the product. They are replacing the windshield free under the warranty.

Just wanted to put this out in case anyone else has an issue this winter.
