I bought my 2012 cls63, it came with the key fob for the ignition but i see no signs of a glovebox key. Vehicle from dealership after sold at auction, so no way to contact original owner

Any way to get a new key? Are these real key/lock or just to keep kids out? Dealer seems perplexed

The key should be inside the key fob, The circular key chain ring that you have on your key fob... unless its missin then you are back to square 1

If you are missing the key inside the key fob you can get one ordered at the dealership with your vin number.
