I'm 4000 US miles from you and have read your one line noisy gear shift post--like I say once the snow is gone find a good transmission shop and ask them that question, however, if without test driving the car they say replace the transmission, I would then let a sugar beet farmer test drive the car---what does he think!!

what's a sugar beet?
this sucks. ive just been getting ready to do a dyno tune, as ive had kleeman catless downpipes and turbo pipes installed, along with their tune, which hasnt worked for me.. now im wondering what the next step should be.

Does it do this with gas in it as well I'm assuming? I know that with gas that empty my LT Fuel trims are way off. Could be not getting the fuel it needs. If it does I'd say maybe a trans software update or adapt. Did it start after the tune?

oh you mean because my fuel was so low?
yes im not sure. ill try it again with a full tank. but i didnt think that would affect it. interesting thing is about 20 km after that i actually ran out of gas just before i got to the station. i was sure it normally let it go way below the empty notch before it ran out. this time it was dead on the empty mark!!! very odd.

however i did notice something new.
when slowing down to a stop gradually (with foot off brake), as car automatically shifts from 2nd to 1st, it grabs and jerks, almost as if i was out of gas... (nowhere near as jerky or as violent, but similar) then once in 1st, the car coasts normally along in a normal creep.

wow, i think that may have had something to do with it. i filled up and did 3 pulls and that issue isnt there anymore.

The downshifting is normal especially after spirited driving. Helps save the brakes a bit too!

i probably shouldn't have been doing that. didn't notice i the tank was on empty.
i would sure be disappointed if my tranny was crap after only 30k miles.
car is tuned, but tune isn't working, so... never experienced any increase in power.

ive had THREE mail in tunes. that were all crap. 2 AMS and one kleemann.
now im trying for a third time.
this time Eurochaged is doing a local dyno tune day where i live so ill hopefully get it all settled.
strange thing is i know another person in my area with the exact same car, but a 2015 model who's had 3 mail in tunes as well, (his were from renntech)and none of them worked either!!
then he got a local dyno tune, and was happy with the results. picked up an extra 8 mph in 1/4
needless to say i will never pay for another mail in tune.
