HRE structual warranty
Hi guys,
I have a set of P40SC's as you know on my CLS. I found out at the last tire rotation that one is BENT! I can say for sure I have not hit any potholes, or big bumps in my car......ever......
HRE says I have little chance of getting the structural warranty......they want me to send the wheel to them in Cali so they can inspect it......but my contact there told me it's very unlikely and I will have to pay for a new one.
One of the reasons I went with HRE is the lifetime warranty they provide for structural issues. I was also asked to send ALL four wheels so they could make an exact color match.....but I did not want to change the wheels again or ship them all to HRE just for a color match.....so there is a chance the new wheel will be slightly off.
Anyone ever get this from HRE? Can anyone shed some advice or thoughts? Many thanx!

A bend is caused when you hit something period. You just must not have realized that you hit a bump / pot hole etc.
Structural defects would be cracks / fractures / etc

What he said. The warranty is for manufacturing defects, not smashing into potholes or other street hazards.

HRE baby
I wanted to add, and be clear that I really do like HRE a lot. The customer service I've received over the past 5 years has been second to none. The wheels are beautiful and the highest of quality. Even my children wear their t shirts
