Something broke on my car

Angry Something broke on my car
Had my AMG since March of 2012. Bought it new.


Yesterday as I was passing someone, this fell in my lap and broke in half......what an annoying little part to break!


It was the first thing to break on my car, not bad huh?
I ordered a new one from the stealer, cost, just under 100. Hoping my ELW will cover it too.

So it just snapped and fell off? Man, it's gotta be pretty hot where you live. Did you tint the sunroof?

A few of the inner tabs had apparently worn/dried out and snapped off. I guess the NC heat can be brutal at times...and no, it isn't tinted, although it seems to have some already on it that's stock

You can see the three small tabs that broke on the top left......only three and it failed.......oh well......new one was made in Germany too
Still waiting for return emails about a hydro-dip in CF

Is your sunroof tinted? Maybe it needs to have the max ceramic tint on it.

I had a piece of plastic fell off too.. The glue didnt hold so it fell over time.
