YeSSSSSSS.... I just removed the resonators off of my 2014 AWD CLS63 with Renntech R2 package and the car sounds like a big bully that doesn't take NO for an answer. I'll post pics and videos soon.... I've been very busy lately... but what I can tell you is that is adds just the right amount of tone without any drone inside the cabin. I would say there is no HP difference and if anyone tells you different tell them to show you some paper work.... I always work off numbers because anybody will say anything these days.

Looks soooo sick.
How did you do your exhaust tips by the way? It looks flawless, so well done! I dropped off my car to get wrapped yesterday and going away for the holidays while it's being done. I inquired about doing the exhaust tips gloss black but they said they wouldn't do it because the temperature would wear off the colour??
How are the carmarka parts holding up by the way? and who on ebay did you order the side skirts and cf mirror covers?
Did you end up doing the resonator delete? And is that an H pipe you installed or it was done previously? Also, do you know if the ecu tune from Renntech changed the exhaust sound? Would love to see/hear a video of it!
Also, do you have an instagram? I just made one for my CLS to see the progress along the way, I would love to follow you if you have one as well!
Sorry so many questions.. just got my 2012 CLS beginning of October, and it's my first AMG.. haven't done too much to it yet either, but your thread makes me pretty excited lol

Exhaust tips were just painted. They look great still and I drive the car regularly.
Carmarka parts are holding up very well so far. Side skirts are Carmarka as well I believe just purchased them from Ebay.
The mirrors are starting to get slight light colored spots from being cheaply made. I can live with it for now but we'll see how it looks in a couple months and after the weather change in Spring.
I installed the H pipe when the resonator delete was done.

Daren Merkle from Shadow Graphics in Indianapolis is the best in the business in Indiana. I cannot speak highly enough of Daren, his abilities and his professionalism.
Black chrome is beautiful but if you go chrome, make sure you understand the high maintenance that comes with chrome. It is ALWAYS dirty. Also, you MUST laminate the chrome materials. The laminate helps protect the chrome wrap film from scratching. Every imperfection in your bumper will be seen with any wrap, specifically chrome. It is best to sand them down if you will be bothered by it.
The best chrome on the market is Avery Dennison and the laminate you want to pair it with is Avery's DOL1460 gloss. You can also laminate it with DOL1370 for a "frozen" or satin look.
So you know, I am employed through Avery Dennison. I am one of two people contracted for training and certifying wrap installers in North America. BUT with that being said, my opinions on the materials are 100% from experience. If Avery wasn't the best choice I would let you know my true feelings and opinion. I have used almost every material known to the market in the last 17 years in real world scenarios. I know what is good and what is not and will shoot you guys straight.

i went to shadow graphix in indianapolis. I did not meet darren but i met with one of his associates... i have a Maserati GranCabrio that i want to get wrapped along with my cls63..
i am interested in white satin pearl look for my maserati.. 3m had a few variations in that color.. but which one do you recomend?
also for my cls i was looking at something in mat blue... i would like to stay away from chrome wraps since im really picky about keeping my cars clean and chrome would keep me busy with wiping my car all the time...
what do you think is a fair price to wrap both cars?
