Looking for members that added more BASS.
Feeling the need to beef up this low end on my CLS sound system which is bone stock. HAve any members added an amp/sub in the trunk? If so what kind? How much do you spend? Not a sound person but do like
it to sound good and beefy. Would have the MB indy shop install......any thoughts or advice would help a lot!
Thanx

I had two 12inch subs with a 1000watt amplifier installed that will knock the pictures off the wall. The speakers are made by Memphis audio model number M5 and the amp is Memphis as well. There is also a dry cell battery installed in the trunk so the system doesn’t draw any amps from the vehicle battery. This is very important unless you want your lights to dim when your music is hitting the lows LOL. My set up cost me $2k and the speaker box is flush mount so the trunk is still usable. Please don’t let MB install this setup... please go to a reputable audio establishment. Guys that specifically do this type of work every day.

I must say that I am impressed with the OEM mids as they seem to have a natural balance with subs. I’ll shoot you picture in a few minutes so you can get an idea of what I’m working with.
