Transmission Service
After warranty work on my w218 the service dept recommends a tranny service at 45K miles. They want to inspect the fluid & pan. The service mgr mention a "slight warranty possible" on the transmission depending on what they find during the service.
I've had the tranny reset twice in the last 18 months. My transmission has been typical jerky, but it's been worse since the Vancouver temps have dipped to near freezing overnight. I have noticed the tranny downshifting harder between 3-2nd and 5-4th. The dealer quoted me $780 CAD ($600 USD) for the Transmission Service.
Any experiences or thoughts appreciated...
