handheld seems to be the new big thing.
Did mine via OBD handheld. No issues and the Tuner companies are usually very helpful if any issues come up.
Some will even do remote access or facetime

Sounds good , i also heard they send you updates when available for the tune, and if you sell the car and get another they will marry the programmer to the new car . So it seems very practical and easy .

Yes. You will have to buy the new tune map of course but it saves you about $200 when time comes
