CLS 550 MAP sensor help
Does anyone know the range for the stock CLS 550 MAP sensor? What boost are these rated for. I've heard they were 2.5 Bar but not sure. I had my car tuned and it cuts out at certain levels of boost. If my calculations are correct, a 2.5 Bar map sensor would work up to 21.7 psi of boost. Can anyone provide details for the stock map sensor on a 2012 CLS 550? I think my car may be exceeding the map sensor limits

Did you have any luck?
I'm looking for similar info because I'm having low boost issues in my '16 E550 and sounds like we may have the same problem?
So I bought that same Bosch sensor to swap mine out and see if it fixes it, but discovered it's a nightmare to replace! So before I do that I'd like to see if it's possible to verify that original is bad, which I can't do unless I know what to look for...
I can map out the new sensor from full vacuum to wherever it stops, but I'd need to know what pins are what lest I risk ruining it. The oem sensor is buried so deep I can't even tell what wires go to what pin to check that.
Aside from the sensor specifics, I'd love to hear if you fixed your car, and of so, what was it? And was it doing what mine is doing which is commanding the turbo wastegates to open at a lower psi. In my case about 6psi lower. So it runs fine and there are no relevant codes, it simply makes less boost which robs a much larger % of power than I expected and it's killin me. It didn't gradually do this either, it changed to the new lower psi and stayed there, which was June 2020.
