2103 CLS 63 AMG
Question Turbo Scream
I just had an X-pipe installed with two straight through mufflers, high-flow air filters, and Race Chip tune. A very basic setup... so I thought. As the car reaches 5,000 rpm, the turbos howls louder than anything I have ever heard online. I have listened to CLS 63s with 800hp to 1200hp, and I have never heard this so called turbo howl.

Any suggestions will be appreciated. Yes, I do understand... "put the factory mufflers back on" is an answer, however, I'm looking for similar issues and successful fixes. Thank you.

It won't let me upload the MP4 video file. Do you have a person email? My computer won't convert it to another file.

you can send it to rickchiro@gmail. i'm interested in hearing it. i really think it sounds like you may have an exhaust leak from the work that was done.
