Question about Comand 4.5 music features

Hi fellas,

I was recently looking at some MY2013 CLS vehicles and I think those vehicles come with at least COMAND 4.5 (I don't know how to remotely tell if it's 4.7 or 4.5).

I'd like to be able to listen to my MP3 music while driving. I read several threads where 2012 owners mentioned you could only use 2GB SD cards and you can only transfer music from CD disks to the internal 10GB Music Register. I need to find out what is the max size of the SD card or USB stick or USB drive that you can use in the cars with COMAND 4.5. Unfortunately after did several searches I still can't find such info.

If you guys have MY13 CLS please share your experience.

Thanks in advance!

I have the NTG4.5 H/am system in my W204. I have used both a 32GB SD card and USB drive, higher capacities may be possible but I’ve not tried them myself. There is a limit to how many files can be in a single folder but it’s in the thousands.

Thank you for this info! 32Gb is more than enough for me at this moment! I just didn't like the idea of using only up to 2Gb cards.
