IAT Sensor? Overheating intake?
Hello everybody, I have Cls63 2013 M157 engine and my question is does it have IAT (intake air tempretaure) sensor? If so where is it located?
Because I'm having an issue while idle that my intake temperature keeps getting high (78 °C) but once I start driving it drops down to (50 - 55 °C).
Sometimes when the intake overheats I start to get engine light flashing and stalling engine + rough accelration.
Throwing codes of misfire.
I have changed spark plugs, coils, cooler waterpump, o2 sensors but still the same problem and the top water tank keeps reducing water once intake overheats.
Mods: After market air intake, downpipe, tuned
Last question does the MAF sensor position affects the temp if it was directly after the filter or far away from it ?
