Air compressor keeps running after engine shut off

Air compressor keeps running after engine shut off

After engine shut off, air compressor keeps running for another couple minutes. When I jack up the wheel to work on something, the air compressor keep running and then flat out, bottom. Are these symptoms of failing air bag?

W218 CLS 400

Mines does the same after power off and runs sometimes up to 15 minutes. No fault means no fault until it leaves me stranded. I went in for service and they had nothing to say.

So MB service didn't know what wrong with that or they have nothing to say because it's normal?
