Wheel rubbing

I lowered my car by .75 inch using H&R springs. The gap is about 1.5 finger. To my surprise, I got wheel rubbering sometimes when turning at low speed. My old E63 got lowered by almost 2in without any rubbering. All are factory wheel and tire size, no spacers. Any W218 owner who has same setup has this problem? Thanks.

rubbering: I meant rubbing

Could it be power steering noise?

For what I've found so far, that rubbing noise at low speed turning comes from the electric steering. Haven't had a chance for the tech to look into the problem yet.

What did you use for lowering ?
I used H&R springs up front and links in rear maybe its the angle of the bejangle lol Its diff annoying I'm looking into KMac to see if alignment changes anything

I used H&R springs up front and links in rear too. Please report back if you decide to go with KMac but please do some homework first, there were a few complains against KMac.

I have bigger negative camber in the rear than in the front. The negative camber in the front is not not that bad so I don't think the rubbing noise is because of the angle.

Nothing is wrong with the electric steering. I reassembled the spring, lubricated the strut mount and the inner rubber. The noise is gone.
