W215 electrical issue
Hey everyone,
Looking for some help. I just replaced the battery in my 2002 CL55AMG. Last night, when I parked after returning from work, I noticed a noise coming from my center console dash panel in the area of the audio system. The noise reminded me of an electric motor, and continued after the key was removed. I manipulated all of the controls, but the noise continued. It reminds me of a cassette player motor or something. The noise was there even after powering the radio off. I disconnected the battery and went to bed. This morning, I reconnected the battery, started the car, and the noise resumed, even after shutting the car off. I put the car in the garage and disconnected the battery again. I'm hoping for some insight with this. Maybe someone else experienced this problem. Where to start?? Thanks in advance for any assistance.
