Drive modes. E, S , M
recently bought this car. Had a hole in my x pipe but at this point when it was in M mode I was in control of the shifting and it wouldn’t automatically shift until it got to a certain rpm.
I had the section of my exhaust replaced. Didn’t go back to the x pipe design I believe but I’ll look into that again and get my exact configuration.
now when it is in M mode it shifts automatically before I want it too. It’s like it’s in the same timing as S mode.
I watched a YouTube video on how to reset the transmission back to factory settings and have tried that since but still shifts automatically in M mode.
can anyone explain this or help steer me in a direction. I think it might have something to do with when I changed my exhaust config, but let’s see what youse have to say.
thanks

there was a massive corroded hole in original section of x pipe, they cut that out and custom’d that one section. If I remember correctly they switched it to y pipe maybe. My car is in shop getting the air ride fixed smh. Once I have it back I’ll get under and snap a picture. Basically I don’t have the x pipe anymore and the vacuum dump? Or something that related to the x pipe was seized so they didn’t put it back on.
This however was only temporary for me. I plan to go back in the spring and go back to the x pipe design with a fresh set of pipes. My dealer f**Jed me hard and left me a couple problems to fix that I somehow didn’t realize when purchasing. Blonder by her beauty.
