Struts/steering noise?

Got the noise that sounds like rubbing noise after lowered the front with H&R springs. Unassembled the struts and lubricated struts mount, the noise has gone for a few months and now it's comes back. MB dealer has checked it but not sure what's wrong. At the time the dealer checked it, the noise was not that bad. I was asked to bring it back when the noise get worst. So far I've paid the struts installment twice, alignment after each time, and a diagnosis. Of course I will have to pay again if I bring it back to the dealer for diagnostic. Any w218 owner had this issue before? At low speed when making sharp turn, I have that rubbing noise. Thanks.

Mine is getting checked now, but I’d describe it more as creaking. Steering angle doesn’t matter. Parking maneuvering speed. All stock.

Please let me know the outcome. Mine only makes noise when turning and it's not creaking noise. Thanks.

I know this was 6 six ago, but I'm having exactly the same creaking sound after lowering my CLS63. Does anybody know the outcome of this thread?

It's brand new thread, sorry we don't have the resolution yet. If I had to do all over again, I would replace the strut bearings when I lower the CLS. It's not expensive and we can save the labor. I lubricated them and the noise has gone for a couple month before tit's come back. I am thinking not to do alignment this time.

Bushing / control arm is the fix for mine.
