Perpendicular parking assistance
How do you activate the perpendicular parking assistance? I drove slowly under 20mph, found a spot between 2 cars, turned on right-turn signal, the P showed up without the arrow, stopped my car, put on reverse ... but nothing happened. Parallel parking works when doing the same steps above. I thought the parking assistance can do both type. Am I missing anything here? Thanks.

Should involve some confirmations via the steering wheel controls.
Shift the transmission to position R.
The Start Park Assist? Yes: OK No:

press the OK button on the multifunction
steering wheel.
