Was just wondering since I would like to save a dollar here and there if someone has heard of a company GATES.
They make OEM parts for Mercedes-Benz.

So instead of buying from Mercedes or their retailer, I would like to buy from GATES or their retailer.

For example.

Part number "A2782000570" (Belt tensioner), is priced at 125€, GATES part "T39194" at 52€.

Is there any quality difference? Or it's just a Mercedes Badge on the "OEM" one. Not just asking about GATES, asking about any company that makes OEM parts for Mercedes,
is there any quality difference?
