Since the whole fail and VRP not wanting to send me the right set of downpies, blackboostUSA came through again and I got their set of the Oversized Catless Downpipes and let me tell you they look amazing and the quality is incredible.
I want NOTHING to do with vrp or any of their products. Maybe they will stop telling people that stuff fits when they don't and save countless hours of headache.

Man! I wish you would have gotten the CATTED ones so you could report back on whether they triggered CEL/pass SMOG. No one seems to know the answer to that yet. Congrats on the new shiny part!

I have the same catless pipes. Im happy with them.

BB said they coming out with a set to replace the bridge pipe really soon

Yah and they should bolt right on to these dowpipes also which is a plus.

Is a tune required for these?

You will likely get a CEL with no cats so a tune will turn off the secondary o2's and you wont have a CEL
