Weistec Engineering Downpipes
Hey guys, i been interested in getting downpipes for my cls63 so i called weistec engineering since they have it on their web site but i was told i cannot purchase it if i am from California or US, cannot pick them up either in person. only can have them shipped out somewhere other than US. I am sure there is some loophole where i can get my hands on them. Have you guys experienced same or know what's the way to get them here? any info is greatly appreciated

You can find downpipes of equal quality from many other vendors. I have catless dp's from blackboost and they are exceptional. Also, a used pair of downpipes in good consition are just as good and can be found on many facebook groups

I actually did, they told me the 4matic the differential is on the way. There is a local seller selling brand new down pipes closed in a box for only $900 and its for a 4matic. I I know this may sound crazy to some people but I don't have a cls63 yet but 100% I'll be getting it within two or three months i am trying to gather up my mods ready lol I am not sure if I should pull the trigger or wait, smarter decision would be to wait but its so tempting specially since i am in California, no one wants to send downpipes here I have to go through a loop to get them

What do you do about NYS inspection w/ catless DPs? I was told by EC that you can't tune to have readiness codes "ready" in order to pass smog.

Any knowledgeable tuner can give you an inspection tune, or call it what you want, that will put all your monitors ready regardless if the monitor is functioning correctly or not. Flasher inspection tune maybe a hundred or so miles before you plan on getting an inspection to set all your monitors, get inspected, flash back to your normal tune after. If you're not a customer already it's very doubtful they will tell you they can do this because it's illegal.
