Road-Tripping in a CLS63?

Hey guys! So I'm about to buy a CLS63 and I'm curious about how the car is for long trips.

OBVIOUSLY, MPG doesn't matter in an AMG just curious how often will I have to stop.

I'm aware it has a decent fuel tank but what sort of MPG do you guys have when road-tripping?

And if anyone has any info on daily driving it would help as this will be my only car for a while!

I'm running a modified 2016 CLS63 and took it on a six hour trip down the interstate run recently. Depends on how you manage the throttle, but on the more cruising portions of the run in comfort mode I was probably averaging around mid-teens MPG. When I got on it in sport mode on the return trip home, obviously sucked up more smiles per gallon but with the tank size it still allowed me the ability to run a tank down in about 2.5 - 3 hours hitting speeds in excess of 100+ (when traffic allowed).

I averaged 24MPG in my tuned 2012 from Vancouver to Cali last summer.

2012 CLS63

Years ago, and the furthest I have ever driven mine is about 200 miles lol! It was fine. I have the massage/active seat though and it helped. It was nice.
