Vivid Racing here, and today we are talking detailing! Detailing can be overwhelming at first, but we have awesome products that make the process incredibly user friendly, equipping you with the tools and confidence you need to keep your ride looking right!
Check out some go-to's and personal favorites for Mercedes-Benz!
Interior
Nonsense Super Cleaner (1 gal or 16oz) -- Chemical Guys Nonsense Cleaner is a pH neutral cleaner, meaning you can use it on virtually any surface without any need to worry about damage, discoloration, or drying out! This cleaner can be used as-is, or can be diluted down 50/50 water to chemical and still be an effective cleaner. It will leave no grease, grime, or oily residue behind! Great for... leather, vinyl, real/synthetic wood, fabric, carpet, plastics, even caked-on dirt on rubber tires!
Leather Conditioner (1 gal or 16oz) -- A must have for any leather interior car. This conditioner is easy to apply and work into leathers, with natural oils penetrating deep into the material to offer a moisturized and fresh final product! Apply every 3-4 months after a deep clean to prevent leather aging, damage, or dryness! Need extra UV or hydrophobic protection? Finish with Hydro-Leather, a ceramic spray on leather protectant to prevent dust and dirt build up while protecting from potentially harmful UV rays!
Lightning Fast Stain Fighter (1gal or 16oz) -- This stain fighter is essential for anyone like myself who is equipped with a grey interior carpet! This stain fighter is awesome when paired with a brush like the Nifty Detailing Brush! Spray, agitate, and wipe -- it's as easy as that! Safe on any color! Is pet hair an issue? Check out the pet hair rubber brush!
Exterior
Diablo Wheel Cleaner -- This wheel cleaning gel is a pH neutral cleaner that comes as a concentrated gel, and can be diluted 20:1 water to chemical! Because of its pH level being neutral, it is completely safe on any finish wheels! This cleaner is a great option for those with premium or high price tag wheels that don't want to stress over potentially damaging their wheels! This can also be used in pair with a brush to agitate the cleaner into rubber tires in order to lift deep rooted dust or dirt!
Rimpaca Wheel Brush 2pcs -- A perfect tool to work-in your favorite wheel cleaning products! This brush is constructed with a thick plastic base that offers peace of mind against potential damage to wheel finishes, and a micro-fiber bristled end that scrubs the debris from the wheels effortlessly! Simply rinse the brush free of any debris or left over chemical to maintain an excellent cleaning tool (mine is going 2 years strong)!
Iron DeCon -- Have rust building in the spokes or barrels of your OE M-B Wheels? You are not alone! Iron DeCon by Chemical Guys is an excellent option to breakdown embedded oxidation out of your wheels, restoring them back to their factory fresh shine! Simply spray onto a surface that needs work, let the chemical rest, and you will see the clear liquid turn to purple as it makes contact and lifts iron particles that are rooted into the surface! Rinse with a hose or pressure washer to finish the job and neutralize the chemical!
Honeydew Snow Foam Soap (1 gal or 16oz) -- This pH neutral snow foam soap is a great option for hard tops and soft tops alike! It can be used through a foam cannon for the best results, or in a traditional 2-bucket wash! Not only will there be a great Honeydew sent in the air, but also an immaculate shine! This soap is not infused with any waxes or ceramics, so it can be used on any car -- even PPF!
Griots Foam Cannon -- In need of the best foam producing foam cannon for your snow foam soap? The Griots BOSS Foam Cannon is the answer for you! Simply dilute your favorite soap in the foam cannon chamber and attach to your pressure washer-- it's as easy as that!
Clay Bar (Light, OG, Medium, or Heavy) andClay Lube (1 gal or 16oz) -- The most effective duo for any detailer, a clay bar and clay lube! This is an essential step for any detailer looking for the best results out of their Ceramics, Glazes, Sealants, and/or Waxes! This will remove micro contaminants that have embedded in the paint that you would otherwise lock-in!
Jet Seal (16oz) -- With a great clean surface from the wash soap and clay bar, Jet Seal is a great choice to enhance the depth of your paints shine while protecting it from harmful UV rays! (Not safe on Ceramic Coats!!) Sealants act like fully synthetics waxes, offering a deep shine and some hydrophobic benefits. For best results, should be applied every 4-6 months!
Butter Wax -- A great finishing touch for anyone who is passionate about the results of their detail! Remember, glaze, seal, wax! This natural Carnauba wax will add a glossy shine to paint, while offering some hydrophobic benefits and UV protection! Not to mention an incredibly user friendly application and removal!
Hydro-Charge -- Is you car ceramic coated? Fear not, we've got a great booster spray for you! Hydro-Charge is a great 1-year Ceramic Booster Spray to enhance any ceramic coating that may be on the car! Why go with a ceramic? Ceramics leave behind an anti-static and hydrophobic coating on your paint that beads off water, repels dust, and protects from UV rays! Why spend a lot of time drying off sheets of water on the car when you can quick rinse and quick wipe for a stunning result?
Convertible Top Protectant -- Wanting to maintain your convertible top? I sure am! Convertible top protectant and repellant is an awesome choice for any convertible owners that live in harsh climates or are looking to maintain their aging tops! With UV blockers helping prevent fading or discoloration, the sprayable formula also provides a hydrophobic layer of protection that prevents things like tree sap, bird droppings, spilled drinks, road tar, and much more from being able to bond to the surface!
