CLS 63 AMG 2012

Engine Coolant Motor Pump

I have been having issues with my battery draining even though i have replaced the battery, My mechanic has told me that when the engine stops the engine coolant motor pumps keeps running and that’s what’s draining it. How long should the cooling motor run after the engine is turned off? The problem can be solved if I remove the fuse.
I was wondering if anyone has the wiring diagram for the engine coolant motor so we can saee what powers it. My car is CLS63 AMG M157, 2012 registration.
Has anyone else had issues like this?

If I had to guess, you might have a faulty relay, that is stuck in the on position, regardless of the state of the control circuit. Maybe try to locate and test that.

Do you know were the Relay is situated to check
