I had this carbon fiber grill and star made by olszowa12 but never installed it. Both star and grill were wrapped in clear ppf as well. OEM parts were used for the overlay. If you are familiar olszowa12 and his work, then you know its the best of the best for custom pieces. One clip from the star is missing but does affect fitment or its ability to remain locked in place. Price is $2000 shipped in the US.
Not here to start trouble, but the vendor you mentioned provided the interior parts for my W-212 AMG and not only did many of the parts come with clips broken but within a year 6 of the seven parts de laminated where the carbon was peeling away from the part because of poor prep. parts also had burned through of the carbon from the finishing process. I would avoid products from the vendor mentioned at all costs…

Story does not sound consistent with olszowa12's work. As a repeat customer with olszowa12 on 3 occasions, his work has been exceptional. Plenty of very happy customers on this forum.
