Has anyone attempted a Valentine One hardwire?

I have my V1 hardwired into the 540 up near the rear-view mirror (using the map light's power source) that took me about 10 minutes with some online instructions. Has anyone investigated a similar setup for a CLS? Thanks in advance.

I just received my V1 hardwire kit. I'll post pics as soon as it's done Thursday.

Run the wire hidden in the headliner (to your rear view or whichever area), down to the driver's pillar (behind the airbag) - down to the side of the dash.

With the door open, open the side dash cover (exposing the fuse area). Run another wire from your lighter's hot wire (open the console and the driver's underdash cover) and have the wires meet in the fuse area, then make the connection. You can stash the V1's "distribution block" in the same fuse area, then put everything back up.

That should allow your V1 to power on/off when the iginition is on/off.
