between the cls55 and the slk55. I really like both cars i love the cls55 but with the msrp way above the price i will have to wait a little bit to get it. The SLK55 i saw it at the dealership a couple a days ago the car was smoking hot i love the front its like a mini slr i was thinking about if get it i would put lambo doors on it. Also the thing that scares me about it is its cargo room inside is it comfortable? What are ur opinions on both cars i need some help from my fellow mercedez owners.

The first thing you are going to do is kill the resale value by ruining an SLK55 with lambo doors. Get the SLK55 if thats the one you want (its an awesome car, no doubt) but please dont ruin it by turning it into a 16 year old's nightmare.

You're nto allowed to buy the SLK. Period. CLS or SLK? Is that really the question? Hmmm...I don't even have a good analogy for this one

Lambo doors and all - it's still and SLK - nothing really wrong with the car I suppose - it's just that between the 2 options it's like comparing a condo in the city to a mansion on the beach. It's nice to have both, but if you gotta pick one...

Its just a mod that is very much associated with kids who dont know any better. In other words, its childish and lame, an AMG vehicle is the last type of vehicle that should be altered in such a way. AMG vehicles are very special, their production numbers are limited and many of the parts are handmade and assembled which is a rarity in this day and age. It would ruin an otherwise highly sought after vehicle.

PS: SLK55 or CLS55?? It shouldnt require a shred of thought to decide which one. The two cars are so completely different, theres really no comparing them. The CLS takes the cake IMO, its significantly faster, destined to become a classic and far more useful in the real world.

You may have answered your own question in a roundabout way. Sorry in advance if I offend anyone, but, to me, the SLK screams I could'nt afford the SL, so I got the mini version. Too much money to spend for that. For performance, go with the Boxster S it is in a class all its own.

Kinda like the stigma associated with the 190e when it first came out. People called it a Baby Benz....

I won't have a problem to decide choosing a CLS55 or SLK55.
Here, CLS55 double the price of SLK55.
For driving pleasure, there won't be less fun with the SLK55 than CLS55.
For status symbol, CLS55 is HOT.

Anyway , I will never get them but will wait for 2007's 420hp C63 or CLK63
