Did anybody see yesterday's Top Gear episode? It was the first one of the new season. Jeremy reviewed the CLS55 and liked it a lot. Was pretty damn quick around the track too.

 

The CLS55 compaired to the E55, is there any noticeable difference when driving, performance wise?

yea i saw it yesterday. Great episode indeed. the CLS did .1 seconds behind the 575 GTC in the Lap Times.

You have to download it from the finalgear website posted above. Sadly it still isn't on air here.

There will be a Top Gear America Airing on Discovery channel soon though.

I also got to see the M5 get tested on 5th Gear tonight, man that thing can go.

Follow sprins second link. You have to click I Agree and it brings you to the download page. You have to have bittorrent for it to work though. Google bittorrent if you don't know what it is.

 

Jeremy reviewed the car a few weeks ago actually and it was discussed here at that time...said it was almost a flawless car in all dimensions.

Just download bittorent. Its a helluva lot faster.

 

BitTorrent not working for me. Downloaded bittorrent and then tried to download the Top Gear Video and your site keeps asking me to download bittorrent. Oh Well. - Bob

for downloading with bittorrent network i recommend using BitComet. one of the best torrent clients.

 

yeah, JC loves that car. but the CLS review in TopGear Mag itself (not written by Clarkson) was quite different. the person wld rather have a Maser Quattroporte although he admitted the CLS is the better car. he also felt that the engine was too much for the car to handle.

heh, for me the quottroporte is one ugly looking car, with a lousy gearbox to boot. but well, different ppl hv different tastes, i guess...

 

The engine is too much for the car to handle, but it's a fantastic machine, and levels above a lousy Maserati.
