M5 vs CLS 55 on Top Gear

close, but when they tested m5 one of them blew the diffirential or somthing, and the other one after hard driving was giving bunch of warnings, where CLS55 can be driven hard as much as you want, well apart from Mb great brakes.

I saw that TG episode too, JC wasn't all too impressed with the electronics and that Sat Nav woman talking all the time :p
when the Stig drove the M5 in the TG track, the Sat Nav woman was still talking while the car was getting thrashed...kekekek, but the car sounded awesome
I am quite suprised that the M5 is only 0.7 sec quicker than the CLS55 around the TG track driven by the same driver on a different day. The M5 is at least 150kg lighter and it has more power than the CLS55.
Can someone please confirm if the CLS55 has 500bhp?
