easy exit feature

i activated mine thru the settings but there doesnt seem to be a way to choose if u want to just move the steering wheel, the seat, or both.

mines just moves the steering wheel column. id like it to move the seat back as well. the maula says i should be able to do it.

am i missing something here?

also i still cant figure out how to have my passenger side dynamic seat to stay on by default.

On the E55 there is a choice of moving the seat and wheel or just the wheel. It is found in the settings in the display. as far as the seat goes, here is my take on it.

I do not think you can set the passenger seat to default to "On", but you can create a shortcut (so to speak). With someone in the seat turn on Dynamic and push the memory button (M) and one of the number buttons. When someone rides in the passenger seat, he just touches that memory (number 1,2, or 3) button and the dynamic turns on.

on my clk the seat move back as well as the steering wheel, but in the cls just the wheel, maybe mercedes thinks there is more room in the cls so the seat doesnt need to be moved?

wow. you guys really want to use that feature !

I got that on my car (the steering wheel would rise and the seat would move back) but I turned both off after a week.

My CLS500 does both. In the settings menu you can select either "steering column" or "seat + steering column".

Should be the same on CLS55, no?
