Winter Tires for CLS55

I ordered a CLS55 in September and it is suppose to arrive in a few weeks. I need to figure out a winter tire solution. I live in North Dakota so winters are kind of brutal. Does anyone know if there are 19" winter tires available or am I going to have to purchase a smaller wheelset?

Unfortunately, there are no 19 snow tires available for your car (I asked Tirerack before I decided to go with the E55). You would have to purchase another a set of 18s for snow. However, this might not work if you have the performance package as the brakes are larger than the regular ones and 18s might not fit.

thanks.
Fortunately the performance package wasn't on the Mercedes website configurator when I placed the order or I would have added it. So I guess a little dumb luck never hurts. Would you have a recommendation for 18" wheels?

Again, thanks

There are a lot of selection on tirerack.com, the official sponsor of the board. Give Luke a call.

Personally, I would pick a cheap rim from ASA and throw on a set of Dunlop Winter Sport M3

Man, you must have ordered this car with a very DUMB SALES-REP.! Sure, the 030-package wasn't on the mbusa.com-configurator, but it's very difficult to miss it on NetStar (if you ordered in September, it was available and your sales-rep. should have known that!).

I tried to have it changed about a month ago and was told it was too late because the car was already in production.
