sound on the cls55

sound on the cls55
I have a cls55 and am not to impressed with the sound from the exaust and would like to inhance that if possiable and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or maybe something they have done and been satisfied.

I agree the CLS55 sounds simply bad@ss. The tone, volume, burble...everything.
Wait a little while before you start yanking parts out. Most cars get a wee bit louder after the breakin. MB spent a good amount of time engineering the exhaust so it would be throaty, yet would not have the annoying drone.
If you are bent on doing something, straightpipe the resonators.

It is a Mercedes Benz. I agree with everyone else, it (and the SL) is the loudest AMG car, and anything much louder than stock starts to become obnoxious and (not directed at you) "ricer taste with MB budget". Have you stood outside your car and listened as it drove by at WOT? It sounds unreal. I have Kleemann headers and got them for the HP increase and not the sound. I was thrilled that the sound difference was negligble. Last thing I wanted in a benz was window rattling, or cabin vibrating sound in the car.
