Will Brake-by-Wire be gone in 2007?

Just thought I read somewhere that Mercedes is getting rid of that whole Sensotronic braking system and going back to the "regular" brakes. Does this mean the new CLS63 will have regular braking system (Hydrolic) (sp?) like the one in my 2003 CLK55? I hate those electronic brakes in the CLS and E class.
I think that would be worth waiting for the 2007 CLS63 right there.

Wouldn't swear to it but....

I did read they were going to do away with the break by wire

Quite sure the 63's will not have BBW

Back to the old...

I was thinking more about the CLS63. there must be some info out there. That would be the perfect car: N/A big V8, normal brakes.....kick ***!

Do you CLS55 guys really like the brake by wire system? I drove my mom's 2003 E320 and the brakes were awful to modulate. I couldn't take it. Makes me wonder if my deal for the CLS55 actually had gone through if I would've been able to live with the brakes!

I read that the new S does not have them. I really hope the CLS63 does not have them either. The sensotronic on my E is terrible. It is on or off and almost nothing in between. Almost impossible to break smoothly. My wife's Land Cruiser has much better break feel.
