Wrong gear oil in differential

I brought my CLS55 (NO 030 package) in for it's first service yesterday 1000 - 3000 mi.

For some reason (incompetence) they changed out the gear oil in the differential with 75w-140. My car is supposed to have 85w-90.

What problems could this cause, if any?

They also scratched the hood, so it's going back on tuesday.

I HATE OTHER PEOPLE TOUCHING MY CARS! DAMN IT!

I'm extremely pissed off right now.

Thumbs up Better Gear Oil!!!

CLS_AMG - Your Dealership did you a favor by using 75W-140 Gear Oil. It is most likely the same Gear Oil that is used in the 030 LSD, which is a superior Gear Oil and it also can be used in "NON-LSD" Diffs. Now the scratch in the Hood is another Issue altogether!! Sorry to hear about the Hood damage , but the 75W-140 Gear Oil is not a problem. - Bob
