Do you have the 030 Performance Package?

I have come to the conclusion that with high performance pads you are going to get squeal. Might I suggest a few rpaid stops from 60 to 20 to clean any rotor hazing that might have occured. This should likely help rid of the squeal to a certain extent.

I have the 030 package and experienced the same thing for the first 2k miles. So you probably should take it in since it shouldn't continue to squeak after 3k miles.

try some hard stops on the hwy to clean the pads and rotors off but not hard enough to turn on the ABS.

I have the 030 but haven't had the brakes start squeeking yet, 4200 mi and going strong. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed because it is annoying as hell.

finally....someone else! i hate my brakes! they squeak like the car is 20 years old...kinda embarrasing sometimes.

when i took it in for my 3k service, i had them check it out and they put some type of chemical (a glue i think) on the pads and heated them up. it didn't squeak after that for about 1k miles, but then started right back up again. it doesn't do it all the time, but always at the wrong time (pulling up to someone at a light who has their windows down...they look over to see what old hag is pulling up only to see a new car.

i have to take it back when i get time.

:Caution: If you wanna stop it for good amount of time spray some wd-40 on the rotor and inside the caliper. Mine got so bad over the winter salt, cold i had too or get new pads. :Caution: brakes will not work so well, so you have to slam them to get all the crap off. After a few good stops it should have worked. This is a last resort. I know my brake squeal drives me ****ing crazy!! good luck guys

this is a common problem with MB cars there is no real solution.
