does anyone know how to make the AMG logo pop up when u turn da car on????? also does the DVD navigation play DVDs on da screen? thanks

 

You can play dvds on the command system when the car is in park only. Once you move the gear from park it turns off. Also Ebay is selling some crack book or something that you can diable the dvd, so you can watch dvds while driving. This kit also includes the AMG logo crack.

select cd hold the 5 then while holding the 5 press and hold 3 and 7. after a few secs a option screen pulls up select amg

 

Any advice on getting the program to play DVD's while driving ?

 

You gotta have the EURO command to play dvd;s in motion. Then it just a simple sequence of buttons (which I have) you gotta press and you will have dvd in motion. Otherwise you gotta send your command to have it reprogrammed or something. But for the money its gonna cost you, you mind as well get a new command

I tried the recipe for the AMG screen.

Selected CD (had a Santana CD in)
Pressed 5 and held
Then pressed 3 and 7
Waited 30 seconds...... ///NOTHING///

?????

 

Its way easier this way

Choose weatherband.
then hit 5 then immediately 3 and 7 at the same time hold for about 5 seconds, and the menu should pop up. Select W211 AMG Logo and then exit the screen and shut the car off for 5 minutes, when you start it back up the command screen should load up AMG. Ive done it on my friends CLS so it does work CLS's.

 

I got the AMG logo on my CLS55 using these instructions -- was very easy to do.

Unfortunately the AMG logo only shows for about two or three seconds, then the 'don't wreck your car because of COMAND' warning replaces it Is there any way to disable that idiotic warning ?

It is still better than my Lexus SC, which forces the driver to hit a button on the touch screen to get past the warning message.

 

My truck, Land Rover and Navigator are the same way, I HATE IT!

You cannot play DVDs on 05+ command systems. I believe it was only a few select 04 models that had this option in the US. To get this option you shuld contact MBenzNL aka Steve, he can install the Euro command into your car at your home.

 

I do have a EURO command system please give me the sequence of buttons to get the dvd in motion. Thanks in advance

 

here is how the amg logo looks like

 

All you have to do is select cd with a cd playing and hold the 5 down and while doing that hit the 3 and 7 and hold for five seconds and the screen should pop up. then select amg w211 then turn car off wait 1 min. and there you go.

 

wow it looks really sweet, i just did it in my CLS55. I only wished it stayed on longer

BTW have any of you guys tried those ebay kits that allow you to crack the code & watch DVD's???

 

the dvd in motion only works on euro comands

 

i bought the crack on ebay for 25$usd and it works perfectly but on ly for Euro command
