That Whine = HP!!!
Bipasha493 - That is the Supercharger spinning very fast and making a whining noise. It also can be heard at Idle and low speeds, not to worry, it is a normal noise made by all 55K Motors. If you want to hear what big HP sounds like, have your friend drive up the street towards you at WOT and listen to the whine then!!!

whew! thanks alot Bob! so worried i took it to the benz dealership to ask them what it was but then i would have to keep the car there for one of da technicians to look at which i wasent having. Thanks for the advice

Yeah it's the supercharger
I started mine up outside a convenience store here in Kentucky and this redneck buying a six pack looked at the car like it had a power steering fluid deficiency.
Same inbred flora and fauna here asked me if my 360 Modena was "the new Mustang" a couple years ago.
