Phone question

OK. Had the car since December and finally went to get a phone. The dealer here does not know *****!

They printed our a list and 2 of the options look familiar.

V60 Verizon and V600 Singular
Now, they say there is a Bluetooth option. WTF?

We can get either service here. Can anyone tell me which one to get?

Thank you!!!!!

you need to ask around and find out who has better coverage in your area, then go for it.
I have cingular, there customer service sucks (but whos doesn't) but they have coverage everywhere it seems.

If you have MHI(multiple handset interface) installed in the CLS, then all you need is to purchase the Mercede bluetooth module from the dealer or www.wireless4mb.com and you will have complete bluetooth function and 100% integration with your car. Go to www.wireless4mb.com for the list of approved phones or just read up in the audio forum here and you will learn what you need to know. I have BT in my 2006 E55 and I can't imaging living without it now. For my BT, I am using Verizon Motorola E815 and no problem so far.

Question

I transferred my old V60 (Verizon) from my old '04 SL to the CLS. I can't use my Razr in the car. Can I switch that old cradle and add the the puck or a bluetooth adapter for the old V60?

Your CLS55 should have the same setup as mine, the same MHI. The best way for you is to remove the V60 cradle, buy the Mercedes BT module, and insert the BT module into the MHI receptacle. Now all you need is to pair the phone(w/ BT phone of course) with the BT module. All this will take less than 5 minutes and now you are done. I am not sure if V60 is BT or if works but I believed the Razr is compatible with the BT module. Good luck.
