Hehe, yea I know. She even says please sometimes.

What I meant was, is your linguatronic still working. You know, when you pull the right stalk and tell it to switch to radio, or telephone, etc. Does that still work?

OK I'm officialy confused.. right stalk? there isn't one..
are you referring to the buttons on the steering wheel?
I can change the scene's on the DVD with the button on the wheel.
To change to Radio or CD changer, or NAV I simply hit those buttons on the actual unit.. Is that what your referring to?

.............you will enjoy your comand more if you get a voice control module installed. As far as I know, you don't need a special Euro version. It can be dealer installed in 15 minutes. Since your are very good at this, you can do it yourself. But I think there is Star diagnosis coding involved. so dealer might be better option.

...........the module comes with a steering wheel stalk that after you push the stalk, you can control the comand by voice. Not every function is voice controlled, but major ones are. I even have this in my W210 E55. For post-2003 W220, I know you can even input navigation destinations by voice.

Redbud's correct, hit the SERV button, then on the right the only option is System, hit that, then on the left the second from the top is language, that should get you to english.

Its really hard the first time, my suggestion is have a friend help out,
one guy on each side pulling straight up, a towel under you fingers helps, cause your fingers will hurt!
