The CLS63 pricing has been released, MSRP 92.2k. Thats around 5 grand more than the CLS55. Does the M5 looks cheap compared to this price hmmm

Wow I was expecting no more then $2-3K of a increase, sure makes our 55's more appealing when it comes to the used market.

Does that include delivery charge and gas guzzler tax ? I heard that the gas guzzler tax has increased on the E63 by $400 to $2100.

Looks like most of the CLS63 will have sticker prices of over $100k. Discounts will probably be hard to come too, at least for six months or so.

I have ordered one and it is already here. I have decided to keep my cls55 030 and am willing to sell the cls63. It is black on black. If anyone has any interests please email me.

I slo heard that the mods available from Renntech and Kleemann will be 40-60% more expensive than for the 55 models. Doesnt sound worth it to me.

Not surprising... not much left to do without adding F/I. And adding same will necessitate lowering the compression ratio and probably reinforcing the transmission and other drivetrain parts. The result will be a real beast though!

These mods would be rendered more or less pointless if a CLS65 or bi-turbo version of the CLS63 is indeed coming. A source at the local dealer still tells me the bi-turbo 6.2L will only be in the SLR replacement, but that a CLS65 will be available come 2008

Is your dealer going to take money out of his pocket by telling you the car you really want is coming in a year or two? Probably not. They're going to tell you the 6.2 is not going to be turbo'd, but Mercedes engineers have been quoted as saying that they designed this engine with turbos in mind. Till then I have my eye on a Designo CLS55, if I can just decide which car to sell....
