Is it normal, when the car is on S that it doesnt shift, even via the pedals until it reaches the redline. Eventhogh i am only operating it at 3/4 throttle

Depends on how you normally drive. From what I understand, the transmission "learns" how you drive, and adjusts shift points accordingly. Have you been mashing the throttle quite a bit?

i ve never really mashed it , infact i avoid full throttle. I just want to go up to 5000 rpm and then upshift.
Usually it doesnt upshift, even when i manually do it. The rpm goes to the redline every time.

You need to take that to MB asap. That sounds like a problem if it ALWAYS shifts at redline and you baby it around.
