Drove a CLK63 today...

Car needed a new tire today so while that was being done I spotted a couple CLK63's just sitting at the lot and took one for a spin to see what the 63 is all about.

First impressions: Car sounds great, no question about that. The paddles on the steering wheel are awesome! The transmission is VERY responsive, shifts very nicely from the 10 min drive I had. The power is nice too... In the 55's I'm very used to the car needing to shift to the next gear very quickly. In the 63, you feel the car going and going -- something I liked very much about the motor.

Overall: Grass is always greener on the other side. But that's why I'll enjoy my CLS55 and step it up in the future if I decide I want another CLS. But I definitely don't think it's worth going from a CLS55 to a CLS63.

Just to add: MB of Palm Beach had a black/black ML63... didn't bother driving it, but it definitely looked nice. The dash was full leather, just the way I'd want it... FORTUNATELY someone had placed a deposit just minutes before I was shown the car -- otherwise my bank would not have been too happy with me
