I think the biggest different you'll notice is the amg lsd, when accelerating from a dead stop or out of a corner it will be much more controlled with both tires getting more even power distribution. It really depends on your plans after you buy it. If you're planning no aftermarket mods then I wouldn't buy one without it. If you are modding it, there are better lsd's available, I don't know much about the brakes, and the rims are a matter of preference but you can get some quality 3 piece wheels & tires for 5k. (I'm getting 20" by 11" in the back and 9" in the front wrapped with conti's for 5k)
