Wheel help.
OK....
Time to think about some radical wheels for the car. I have the factory wheels chromed and it just does not have the look I want.
I see that many of you have added aftermarket wheels with a nice lip.

Any suggestions?

I would look into the Radenergie wheels (R5, R10 and R20) and also try Vellano wheels. Here are their websites:

I have used asanti and gfg and I know avus can get some pretty big lips as well. Depends what you are looking for. More sport or more shine and chrome.

When I have compromised on price in the past, I have been sorry. I NED A WHEEL THAT BALANCES AS WELL AS THE FACTORY RIMS.....

Suggestions????...... VSO's look nice.....

I dont own Asantis but the highline models seem to be about $7k for rims and tires in staggered 20 inch form....seems like a decent amount of dough for rims on a CLS, especially since Asantis are very well made according to many sources...

ya dont get me wrong asantis are very nice, when you think of asanti which is a cheaper line of lexani... i just dont see them on a cls...

there more of a im a professional ball player with a 7 series loaded with tv.s and louis vuitton interior kind of rim.

Maybe so...lol

But they look great on our cars and are very well made....not HRE status I guess....but I still might consider them one day on a future ride.

same problem
doc,

I am still undecided with what wheels to get, originally wanted the hre, I have now looked at vellano but I am seriously considering carlsson 1/16 ultra lights dont know; hre with tires was 8500 haven't priced the others yet but thought 8500 was a bit much to spend.

I plan to finalize my decision in the next few months will definetaly wait after the holidays to many expenses.

Doc! Whats going on? The Vellano VSM 20 inch are beautiful rims. One of the members here has them on his Designo CLS 55.
