18" AMG Wheels from CLS500/550

Does anyone know if the 18" AMG split spoke wheels (the ones without the rivits) from the CLS500/550 (presumably with the AMG Sport Package) will clear the brakes on the CLS55? Aren't the brakes on the CLS55 larger than on the standard CLS's?

Heh... Point taken.

What everyone doesn't know is that he and I were trying to work on transferring his 030 AMG wheels from his garage to mine, but couldn't work out the final details. I ended up getting a set of 20" Lowenhart wheels locally -- which should be installed tomorrow. They seem ridiculously wide, however, at 9" front and 11" rear. Obviously, I'll test fit them before I buy them. But they look cool.

I would be looking at the 18" wheels for all-season rubber.

Remember that part of the 030 package is that the rear wheel fenders are rolled and that the tubs are bigger. Make sure that you have sufficient clearance and take pictures, chisel wallet!!! LOL! Better plan on getting a module also, it reall makes the car look right. Good luck with the install and whatever you do make sure that the installer doesnt chip the paint on the inners.

How much suspension travel should I assume (meaning how many inches of clearance should I guarantee between the top edge of the tire and the fender wall)?
