Distronic question
OK... So you are cruising down the highway and someone pulls into your lane. The distronic automatically slows you down..... How does the motorist tailgating you know you are decelerating? Do the brake lights go on?

the pedal gets depressed and thus the lights come on.

What about non braking?
So when the distronic just slows the car without braking, the lights will not come on?

Nope. But that would be the same as when you lift your foot of the gas-pedal.

That makes perfect sense.
We were on I40 last week and were being tailgated by some characters who would actually enhance the value of their automobile if they were to rear-end us. The situation just made me wonder.....
